Landfill site for excavated soil at Fernpass II, Biberwier

For the Tyrolean Environmental Ombudsman the location is completly unsuitable for a landfill site in many respects and from a legal point of view it is an adjudicated case (“res judicata”).

 

Status of the proceedings: With the decision of the regional court dated March 21, 2024, the complaint has been followed, the contested decision was revoked and the matter is referred back to the nature conservation authority for a new decision.
