Forest road Großer Stein, Gries am Brenner

For the Tyrolean Environmental Ombudsoffice, the adverse effects on the habitat of protected chicken, woodpecker and owl species outweigh the minor easing of forestry operations and the planned forest and alpine road should therefore not be built.

Status of the proceedings: By decision of the Provincial Administrative Court of 9 July 2024, the complaint was upheld, the nature conservation permit was revoked and the application was rejected.
