Since 1995 Austria has been a member state of the European Union and has to transpose the FFH Directive.

However, in this administrative procedure the FFH Directive has not been considered sufficiently.

Current state of the procedure: The regional court has been following the complaint and rejected the incomplete application as a formal irregularity.
